You Up?

Terms of Use

Last updated: 14 October 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and the provider of You Up?. By creating an account or using You Up?, you accept them. If you use You Up? for a company, you accept them for that company and confirm that you may do so.

Who we are

You Up? is provided by Sevcan Yorulmazlar (Vookie Labs), a sole proprietorship in Türkiye (“we”, “us”).

Sevcan Yorulmazlar (Vookie Labs) is also the data controller for the personal data You Up? processes. How we handle personal data, and your rights under KVKK and GDPR, are set out in the Privacy Policy, which is part of these terms.

What You Up? does

You Up? checks the websites, APIs, servers and scheduled jobs you tell it to watch, from one or more locations, and alerts you through the Channels you choose when something is wrong. It also keeps a history of the results and can publish a public status page for you.

We work hard to make every check and every alert arrive, but monitoring can never be perfect. A check can miss a short failure, and an alert can be late or lost because of a provider, a network or your own settings. Do not use You Up? as the only safeguard for anything where a missed alert could put life, health or safety at risk.

Your account

  • You need an account to use the dashboard. Give us a real email address you can receive mail at; you have to prove it before you can use the dashboard.
  • Keep your password and backup codes safe. You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us at once at support@uup.dev if you think someone else has access to it.
  • You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
  • The owner of an Organization decides who its Members are and what they can do. Members act on behalf of that Organization.

Plans and payment

  • You Up? has a Free plan and paid plans (Small, Medium, Large and Extra Large). Plans differ in how many Projects, Monitors, heartbeats, Members, locations and Credits they include. On the Free plan, a status page cannot use your own domain or hide “Powered by You Up?”, and you cannot buy Credit packs. Current prices are shown in the dashboard before you buy.
  • Payments are handled by Creem, our merchant of record. When you buy a plan or Credits, you buy from Creem under Creem’s terms, and Creem charges any sales tax or VAT and issues your invoice.
  • Paid plans renew each billing period until you cancel. If you cancel, your plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for, and then your Organization moves to the Free plan.
  • If a payment fails, your plan stays active for 14 days while you fix it. After that, your Organization moves to the Free plan.
  • If you move to a smaller plan, you choose what to keep within its limits. What you do not keep is suspended, not deleted, and comes back if you upgrade again.

Credits

  • SMS and WhatsApp messages cost Credits, including the code we send to confirm a phone number. A Credit counts messages, never an amount of money. A WhatsApp message costs one Credit; an SMS costs one or more Credits depending on the country it goes to.
  • Paid plans include a number of Credits each month, and you can buy extra Credit packs. Purchased packs do not expire. A plan’s monthly Credits that are not used by the next billing date expire then, or earlier if you move to a smaller plan; they do not carry over. Deleting an Organization deletes its Credits, purchased packs included.
  • If your Credits run out, SMS and WhatsApp alerts stop. Every rule that sends SMS or WhatsApp must also send email, so those alerts still reach that rule’s email recipients.
  • We send paid messages only to supported countries, and only to mobile numbers whose owner has confirmed them with a code. What we text, how a number opts in, and how STOP and HELP work are set out under Text messages in the Privacy Policy. You may add only a number whose owner agrees to get your alerts.

Acceptable use

You may only monitor addresses that you own or that you have permission to monitor. You must not use You Up?:

  • to put load on, test the limits of, or attack a site or server, or to scan networks;
  • to send alerts or messages to people who have not agreed to receive them, or to send spam;
  • to store or publish anything unlawful, or anything that infringes someone else’s rights, including on a status page;
  • to get around the limits of your plan, the limits we set to protect the sites we check, or the security of You Up?;
  • to resell You Up? without our written agreement.

Our probes identify themselves in every request, and uup.dev/probe explains their traffic to the people who run the sites we check. If the owner of a site asks us to stop checking it and you cannot show that you may monitor it, we may stop.

Checks that send requests other than GET or HEAD can create or change data on your systems. You are responsible for what those requests do.

Your content

The Monitors, Channels, status pages and other content you add stay yours. You give us permission to store and process them only to provide You Up? to you. You are responsible for having the right to add the email addresses and phone numbers of the people you send alerts to.

Your rights over your personal data

Under KVKK Article 11 and GDPR Articles 15 to 22, you can ask us:

  • whether we process your personal data, and for a copy of it;
  • why we process it, and which third parties we share it with;
  • to correct it if it is wrong or incomplete;
  • to delete it, or to restrict how we use it;
  • to give it to you in a portable format;
  • to object to processing based on our legitimate interest, or to a result against you that comes only from automated processing;
  • for compensation if unlawful processing caused you damage.

You can delete your account yourself in the dashboard. For anything else, write to support@uup.dev. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Turkish Personal Data Protection Authority (Kişisel Verileri Koruma Kurumu) or, if you are in the EU, to the data protection authority where you live or work. The Privacy Policy explains each right in full.

Suspension and ending

  • You can stop using You Up? at any time, and delete your account or your Organization in the dashboard. Deleting an Organization ends its paid plan at once.
  • We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, puts others at risk, or does not pay. Unless the law or the risk makes it impossible, we will tell you first and give you time to fix the problem.
  • If we stop offering You Up?, we will tell paying customers at least 60 days in advance and refund any period paid for but not provided.

Availability and changes

We may change, add or remove features of You Up?. We do not promise any level of availability for You Up? itself unless we agree one with you in writing.

Liability

  • You Up? is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we do not give any warranty that it will be free of errors or will never miss a failure.
  • To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profit, lost revenue or lost data, caused by a missed, late or wrong check or alert.
  • Our total liability to you in any 12 months is limited to the amount you paid us in those 12 months.
  • Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited, such as liability for gross negligence or intent, or your rights as a consumer.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we will update the date at the top. For a change that affects existing customers, we will tell you by email at least 30 days before it takes effect. If you continue to use You Up? after that, you accept the new terms; if you do not agree, you can cancel before the change takes effect.

Law and courts

These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Türkiye. The courts and enforcement offices of İstanbul (Çağlayan) settle any dispute about them. If you are a consumer, this does not take away the protection of the law of the country where you live, or your right to go to the consumer arbitration committees and courts that law gives you.
