You Up? vs Pingdom
You Up? has a Free plan you can keep, not a trial that ends. And every paid Plan has every feature: a bigger Plan holds more, and nothing else changes.

At a glance
Prices are a month, in US dollars. Every Pingdom figure says where we read it and when.

A Free plan you can keep
Free holds 5 Monitors and 5 heartbeats, checked from one location as often as every 30 seconds, with a Status page and alerts by Email, Slack, Discord, Telegram, Microsoft Teams and Webhook. It needs no card and it does not end. When you need more, move to a paid Plan; your Monitors and their history come with you.
Every feature on every paid Plan
Our Plans sell counts, not features. Small, at $9 a month, has every feature Extra Large has: a bigger Plan holds more Projects, Monitors, heartbeats, locations and Members. SMS and WhatsApp spend Credits, and every paid Plan includes some each month. The price of the Plan you bought never rises while you keep it: see the price lock.
Woken only for a confirmed outage
When a check fails, the location that ran it tries again. If that fails too, the Monitor’s other locations look at once, and an Incident opens only when they confirm it. Every paid Plan watches from five locations. Free watches from one location, so on Free we try again before we tell you. How a failure is confirmed says more.
Where it stopped, in plain words
Every alert says how far the request got, about your own domain, such as “acme.com did not answer.”, and gives one next step. When the next step is your hosting provider’s, a report is ready to copy into their support ticket. Where a request stopped shows every place a request can stop.

Questions
Is there a free plan?
Yes. Free holds 5 Monitors and 5 heartbeats, with no end date and no card.
Which features are on which Plan?
Every paid Plan has every feature. Free has them too, but for three: SMS and WhatsApp alerts, which need Credits, and putting your Status page on your own domain or hiding its Powered by line.
Does You Up? measure page speed?
No. You Up? tells you when a site, a job, a certificate or a domain needs you, and where a failed request stopped. It warns when a response is slower than the limit you set.
Are these Pingdom figures current?
Each one shows the day we last read it on Pingdom’s own pages. If one has changed, write to support@uup.dev and we will correct it.
